Stock swing trading system

Stocks swing system trading is a way of stock trading strategy that attempts to catch gains in a stock within 1 to 30 days. A stock swing trade might be completed in less than a week, or if the stock consolidates it might take several weeks.

Stock swing trading system sits in the middle of the continuum between stock day trading system to trend following trading system. A day trader will hold a stock anywhere from a few seconds to a few hours but never more than a day; a trend following trader examines the long-term fundamental trends of a stock or index and may hold the stock for a few weeks or months. While a stocks swing trader will watch the stock market very closely, this trading style does not require the trader to be in front a computer screen while the market is open. A swing system trader will typically aim for a 10-15% profit on all trades.

Short term swing trading is especially beneficial for part-time stock traders. Large institutions can not move in and out of stocks quickly and most day traders do not participate in this time frame. The swing trader is able to capitalize on short term stock movements without the competition of major traders.
