Buy Contra ETF’s. These are like stocks in that they are traded the same way. You place the same BUY and SELL orders with them as you do stocks. ETF’s also provide safety through diversification in that they invest in many stocks, the same as a mutual fund, however they provide much bigger returns than mutual funds.
A Contra ETF goes up when stocks go down. You can buy them on sectors (if you think banks are going down then buy financial contras). You can buy them on markets (If you think big caps are going down then you can buy a Contra ETF that invests in the Dow). One word of caution these are not investments they are trading vehicles only, meant to be held for only a few weeks or months tops.
